Before Starting
Lets first get the kids amped up for the book. Leading up to the first day of reading day, you can get them to make a wand as an art project. On the first day before starting to read, a good way to get them ready is by having them go outside and play or some type of physical activity. Some good ideas would be playing something related to fantasy. For example, Quidish or some alternative to that.
Starting Off
Hand out the books and get them ready for an adventure they will always remember!
